Some tourists from Holland
(Obi Group) joined Balinese
Food Cooking Class at
Sekolah Perhotelan Bali
(The Bali Hotel School).
The participants were
32 tourists. This activity
was conducted by SPB
Cooking instructors.
On this program they
made some Balinese famous
desserts, such as bubuh
injin (black rice pudding),
kelepon (sticky rice
balls with palm sugar),
pisang rai (boiled banana
with grated coconut),
etc.

:
Mr Robert Upchurch (Mr
Bob) of CTI Group, Florida-USA,
visited Sekolah Perhotelan
Bali (The Bali Hotel
School). The visit of
the CTI first person
aimed to make cooperation
in preparing staff,
especially cook, for
Carnival Cruise Line

2006 :
Governor of Bali, Mr
Dewa Made Brata, with
his team from Denpasar
Governmental Department
(Pemkot) visited Sekolah
Perhotelan Bali (The
Bali Hotel School).
Mr Governor witnessed
The signing of MoU (Memorandum
of Understanding) between
SPB and Pemkot. This
MoU includes cooperation
in Conducting, Consultation,
and Training of Tourism
Human resources.
January 2007
:
MoU of Sekolah Perhotelan
Bali (The Bali Hotel
School) and Mc Donald
Indonesia was officially
signed. Having this
MoU, the students of
SPB have wide opportunity
to be a part timer at
Mc Donald outlet in
Bali. The students who
join this program will
have more experiences
and knowledge about
restaurant, especially
fast food restaurant
and franchising.
2007 :
Since 2007, Sekolah
Perhotelan Bali (The
Bali Hotel School) owns
PJTKI (Prime Indonesia
Manpower Agency).
There are only three
institution in Bali
officially own PJTKI,
one of them is SPB.
